Oceania Heyball Womens World Games qualifier

Similar to the Olympics, the World Games is the biggest and most prestigious event that a pool player can compete in. APPA will be hosting a qualifier event to choose one male and one female to represent Oceania in Heyball. These talented players will travel to Chengdu, China, in August 2025 and stay in the Athletes’ Village with 4,000 athletes competing in 35 different sports.

Qualifier Event Dates:
Men’s: 20-23 February 2025
Women’s: 22-23 February 2025

Venue: Heycan Billiards Club, Canberra, ACT
Eligibility Requirements:
* Be a financial member of your national federation.
* Hold a WPA Players license.
* Be an AU or NZ citizen (passport required).

Entry Fee:
$300 for men
$200 for women
The entry fees will be used to cover travel costs and apparel for the winners representing Oceania. Juniors are welcome to apply; however, they will be required to pay the adult entry fee.
Spots Available:
* 32 men
* 16 women
We want to ensure that we can offer this opportunity to all deserving athletes in Oceania.
Note: You must be prepared to commit to taking the trip in August to participate in this qualifier event. The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
